MON1TOR — Effective Date: 19 June 2026
These Terms govern your purchase and use of MON1TOR (the "Software"), provided by Perfect Paradox Ltd, Company Number NI739317, 36 Manse Gate, Newtownards, BT23 4DG, Northern Ireland. By purchasing or using the Software you agree to these Terms.
MON1TOR is self-hosted infrastructure-monitoring software. You deploy and run it on infrastructure you control. We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software at the tier you purchased (Base or Pro). This licence does not expire; we may terminate it only if you materially breach these Terms (for example, reselling or redistributing the Software).
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because MON1TOR is supplied for immediate download, by completing your purchase you expressly request that we begin supplying it immediately and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your statutory right to cancel once the download/access has begun. This does not affect the separate 14-day money-back guarantee we offer voluntarily (see Refund Policy), nor your legal rights if the Software is faulty or not as described.
Your purchase grants a perpetual licence to run the Software at the tier you bought. Base unlocks core monitoring; Pro additionally unlocks forecasting, uptime & SSL, heartbeats, container insights, status pages, extra alert channels and reports. These features do not lapse or expire. Your data always lives on your own infrastructure and is never deleted by us.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software; circumvent the licensing mechanism; or use the Software unlawfully. You are responsible for the security, lawful operation, and data of the systems you monitor.
Because you host the Software, you are responsible for your deployment, backups, access controls, and the infrastructure it runs on. We provide the Software and updates for your tier; we do not operate your instance.
The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Software is limited to the total amount you paid for your MON1TOR licence. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
MON1TOR includes third-party open-source components, each under its own license (MIT, BSD, Apache-2.0, ISC, LGPL, MPL-2.0 and others), listed in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file shipped with the Software. Those components remain under their respective licenses; the MON1TOR application code itself is proprietary to Perfect Paradox Ltd.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
